Black Inukshuk

For centuries, the Inuit have constructed life-like figures of rock
called Inukshuks (pronounced In-ook-shook). They stand as directional
beacons to guide the travellers of Canada's northern most lands. Inukshuk
is an Inuit word which means “in the shape of man” and have become
symbolic of cooperation and brotherhood for people everywhere.
